Sustainable? I know so!

Office Furniture Rental Industry Contributes to Sustainability

I applaud office furniture manufacturers for leading the way on so many fronts toward sustainability and carbon footprint reduction. This was perpetuated by developers needs to make better quality buildings and office environments. LEEDS (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) has become a benchmark for developers and designers to create quality, sustainable and environmentally positive commercial space.

I suppose the office furniture rental industry also contributes to sustainability . Think about it. Furniture is being rented or leased continually. When a company no longer required the furniture, or needs to upgrade, the rented furniture is picked up, refurbished and delivered to the next client. This can include workstations, case goods (desks, credenzas, bookcases etc), seating and file systems.

So when deciding how your company can best to become environmentally friendly and responsible, first contact a reputable commercial broker. I would be very glad to recommend at least three who have excellent track records. They know the best buildings at the best price. Secondly, consider leased furniture as an option. You will be amazed at what you can acquire and the benefits associated with it. We all have to become better citizens for the future. This is just one way.
